    Overall, Colonial Volkswagen service is the best around because of their dedication and timely help. I scheduled this service in the middle of the night. The next day, I stopped by because the car was not drivable. It was taken care of by Ivanna immediately. I waited & got the car fixed. I have this positive service almost all the time, in my 25 years of experience with Colonial Volkswagen. It was nice Mr. Leo Vitalin texted me and asked about after after-service status. Ivanna is always taking extreme care with due diligence. I didn't get this nice treatment from other VW services whenever I was in trouble during my business trips. Even getting an appointment itself is challenging in the Boston area, which is my primary employment.

    I had a terrible experience trying to get my tire replaced. I went in there around 10:30 AM, waited about 30–40 minutes, only to be told they didn’t have the tire in stock and might get it by 5 PM. I said I couldn’t wait 6 hours, and wish I was told this when I was scheduling the appointment so I didn’t waste anyone’s time by coming in, so they said that they can just patch it instead. Some time later, a gentleman came back and said that it’s fixed. Next morning when I walked out to go to work, I found the tire was completely flat again. So now I was late to work. I called to schedule another appointment and a guy named Michael from parts told me that they do have 1 tire in stock and transferred me to service to see when I can come in. When I spoke to service, the guy on the line said they can squeeze me in today. I asked him if he can confirm that the tire is in stock, he said that if I was told by parts department that it is in stock, then it is. When I explained to him that the reason why I wanted it confirmed is because I had the same situation yesterday and I was only told it wasn’t in stock after I arrived. He got frustrated and said “ok hang on”. After a few minutes he got back and said ok so they don’t have any in stock but said that they can get it around 5pm, however, no one will be able to put it on for me since the services are done after 4pm, which makes absolutely no sense as to why he would tell me that I can get the tire at 5pm. So at this point I am already very annoyed by the service department, and they said I can’t get any loaner vehicle. He then told me to just go to a tire shop. I told him that I would but I purchased the tire protection plan for this reason so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. The whole time I felt like I was a burden. Like my car didn’t matter since it’s just a tire replacement. Not one time did anyone apologize either and I’m left wondering why I’m paying for tire coverage if they can’t fix or replace the tire and just refer me elsewhere. Completely frustrating. And I still have a flat and have to figure out how to get my money back for tire protection plan I’ve been playing for.
